- Is there any easier way to name-change on the forum + discord when having multiple characters that use the website/discord?
- Is it normal that I can not see "Your posts" "New posts" "Unread posts" "Active topics" etc?
- Am I able to edit my posted topic, when I discover a grammar mistake afterwards?

You can use any of your character's names on the forums as long as you're not actually applying for the faction. In that case, you'd have to change the forum name to the character you're applying with.

The only way to change the forum name is to request it through HERE and wait for it to get processed.

When it comes to user group restrictions, we'd have to look into it. I'm quite confident that everybody can see their prior posts as long as they're still available on the thread. And yes, you can edit your post unless somebody locks it.

I'm interested in joining the LSPD, although I want to get back into the groove of things because it's probably been a year since I last did anything on my character(s). I'm probably going to get a forum name change to a new character, start off fresh.

My question though is when will the next rotation of Officer Recruitment come by? I know academies are held on weekends, kills me because I work weekends, so I wanted to know beforehand so I could potentially alter my work schedule to have that weekend free for the academy, graduation, etc.

Also, I know it's probably over-asked but what is the generic timeline to go from a PO1/Probationary to something like a Detective, Canine Handler or even one of the Mission Row Detail Officers.

The next recruitment circle will start around July. If you can't make it to the CAP sessions - Don't worry. It's possible to conduct private CAP sessions for those who can't attend the weekend sessions.

It's hard to define a timeline from Police Officer I to Detective/Canine Handler. It depends on your skills, commitment and experience. I think anything between 3 - 5 months is realistic.

Hello. This is not actually a question about recruitment. I came across some YouTube videos about GTA:W LSPD chases. In some videos, the license plates are coded as ABC instead of Adam, Boy, Charles, etc. Is there a reason for this? On the Turkish server, license plate codes are coded as Adam, Boy, Charles, etc.

Hello! This is just really personal preference, there is no set rule in PD on how to callout the license plate. Some might prefer to use the phonic alphabet, some just say the letters and numbers themselves. Hope this answered your question.

As far as I am aware, Dispatchers were only internal positions (Police Service Assistant) which you can apply for if you're an administrative clerk or criminalist 2. Unfortunately there is no way to directly apply for this position, so if this is what you'd like to do, you'll first have to either become a Administrative Clerk or a Criminalist to be eligible for the position.
