  • Esther Lee was born in the upper-county area of Los Santos County, more specifically in the Paleto Bay area. Raised by a single mother, Esther's childhood revolved around the small town, which were mostly quiet, community-driven days amongst the tiny population. Running around town to the neighbor's house, to spend time with friends, was the norm for the most part.

Esther studied all the way to her graduation ceremony in the Paleto Bay area, going to a local Paleto Bay High School. Already during her Sophomore year, Esther's teachers told her she can make it to University if her grades are good enough, which in hindsight gave her that extra push to graduate with good grades. Going to University out of Paleto Bay High School wasn't really the norm, as most of the folk around the area ended up going to work at the local sawmill or settle with one of the many retail stores after graduating. Esther started working at the local Paleto Bay Grub Hub during her school years part time, working during the weekends and summer breaks. Her idea was to save up some money to sponsor her future studies, as her mother wasn't too well off and would not have been able to support Esther all on her own.

Esther opted to continue her studies in chemistry. Originally it was going to be between Spanish and chemistry, due to those two being Esther's strongest subjects, but hobby-wise the teen was more interested in chemistry. During the young lady's University years, she picked up a job at the campus café to support her student costs, as well as dorm costs. Any leftover money was mostly saved up, to have enough money to keep living in the city and not be forced to return to her childhood home to live with her mother upon graduation.

During Esther's school years, occasional career fairs came and went. Esther's curious mind of course partook in a couple, to find her that motivation for future. Some of the booths at the career fairs always consisted of government jobs, Los Santos Police Department's included. Esther was already a fan of criminology books and movies, spending a good chunk of her free time on those. Due to that it didn't take a lot of convincing to get Esther on board with the PD's job opportunities. Her dorm room quickly filled up with various pamphlets from multiple different career fairs, as well as even more criminology books.

After graduation, Esther left campus to go back home for Christmas and New Year's Day, to spend some time with her childhood friends and mother for the holidays. Shortly after the celebrations, Esther started planning her move to the city. She rented herself an apartment on Mission Row over the web, without putting too much thought into it. She was just keen to get back to the city. Esther has now been in the city for a couple of weeks, preparing her new place and finalizing her move, as well as sorting out all the required documents and paperwork for the job opportunity.
