Hey, your BMI should be within the healthy category. You can easily google this with "healthy BMI", but to answer it here, it should be within 18.5 to 24.9. Your character should be physically fit, not underweight nor too much overweight.

Apologies this was never promptly answered.
Commitment varries throughout. Initialy if you make it through recruitment and start your field training, you're expected to be around often. The field training program reflects that by design. The more active you are throughout the probationary phase as a police officer I, the easier it is to gauge your performance ICLY. And also as a common courtesy, there's a lot of people spending alot of effort & time into you.

Once you are past that, and become a Police Officer II, alot of pressure is taken off and you can relax.
The way activity is measured is through an ABAS activity check. This is done automatically on the UCP. Where your total time spent on duty is measured over a period of time. Police Officers I, III and above require 0.7 on the ABAS scale, translating to roughly just under an hour a day.
When you hit P-II, that drops to 0.3, translating to just under 30 minutes a day.
If you leave patrol and go specialized by joining the detectives, or going metropolitan, Additional activity requirements may apply.
That's all accumulative, so if you spend 5 hours on duty for example, and then the couple days none, you'll still register favorably.
