You may submit it via the Commendation's Desk electronically or return it in person to any LSPD community police station. If you prefer, you may write a letter to the Commanding Officer of the community police station in your area regarding the commendation of an employee based out of the station. Your comments will then be reviewed by the concerned Commanding Officer and forwarded to the commended employee.

  4. What would you like to commend about the employee's performance?
     
     
     Officer Demiray saw me resting in the Mission Row Police Department lobby and immediately asked if he could help me with something. At the moment, I was enjoying a coffee and just relaxing. I had previously filled out a form for a ride along. I stated that and he offered right away to take me out. Throughout my time with him, I could tell he cared about his job and could see that in the way he treated the people we encountered. At all times he kept it profesional and offered to answer any questions I had. I would be more than happy to accompany him again.
