I understand that one cannot apply prior to his forum name change. I am just wondering what will happen as the 18th is almost here and a few of us didn't even get a chance to apply.
Hey, there’s a few people who applied and then requested for a forum namechange.

You can reapply in the next recruitment drive.

How would I go about appealing my application? My application was disqualified for grammatical issues. I attempted to amend the application on my IRL birthday, and possibly didn't look as hard as I could at any errors.

What are the limitations to those who join with no mic permissions?
E.g. could you patrol by yourself or do you have to do it with someone, etc ?

Those who hold valid no-microphone permissions from Legal Faction Management are permitted to patrol by themselves, get promoted, join Divisions, etc. It is, however, in consideration of dynamic situations (vehicle pursuits, foot pursuits, active shooter situations, etc.), encouraged to patrol with a partner who uses a microphone — but that is simply a recommendation and not a requirement whatsoever.

I can't comment on every single possible scenario, but I know at present we have faction members with no-mic perms in Patrol and Traffic. There have also been faction members with no-mic perms in more specialized divisions too, such as K-9. At the end of the day, every applicant going through the recruitment process will receive the same treatment - microphone or no microphone.

TL;DR - Those with no-mic perms do not need to patrol with a partner (at least in standard divisions like Patrol & Traffic). Players holding valid LFM-approved no-mic perms will never get disqualified from the recruitment process on "you don't have a mic" grounds, either.

I hope this answers your question.

(( I am working 4-5 days weekly up to 12 hours and with various shift times, if I won't be able to make it into academy class during the next drive for LSPD, is it possible to arrange private training or to do something about it? I am really interested in LSPD, sadly IRL job might be an issue during recruitment ))

Hi!

I was just wondering how many IRL hours per day/week/month is required to be active on duty? Like what is the recommended activity?

Due to gameplay concessions and time constraints, we are unable to give you the full in-game experience of what a law enforcement academy would be like.

We have implemented the Candidate Advancement Program, lasting around three (3) hours, which will test your ability to roleplay and which aims to offer applicants a taste of what the first day at the Academy may feel like.

Faction members ranked Police Officer I shall maintain an ABAS (average activity/day in the last 30 days) of 0.7.

Under what circumstances, if any, may an police officer work for an security firm on the side. I've heard about Police Officers opening their own security companies etcetera, but may an Officer of the Los Santos Police Department spend his off-duty time working as an security guard for night-life establishments within Los Santos?

No, realistically and manually talking, people belonging to the LAPD, so in our lore known as LSPD cannot work as security officers.

Would it be OK if I can apply an NPC as a former law enforcement character? Of course with a highly realistic background story.
