What's the hiring process like? Is it just application, examination, then graduation? Must be more complicated than that.

Application, interview, examination and then graduation. Theres a lot more steps behind the scenes you don't see though.

Is the Academy IC or only an examination, which you have to pass?
If it is IC, what happens, if you don't manage to participate during the given time due rl work?

Thx in advance.

Hi, I've been looking at the new PBA format in preperation for the upcoming recruitment drive and had a question.

Are questions 10.11.1, 10.11.2, 10.11.3, 10.12, 10.13, 10.19.1 and 10.19.2 supposed to be indented as they are now? It looks slightly odd to me, as if some [/list]'s are missing.

Thank you in advance.

The Academy is only the examination. There is no actual IC academy, it's roleplayed as you having attended it with you taking the exam at the end.

If you are employed within the state fire marshal, are you eligible to request a Lateral Transfer or not?

Yes, if you passed your probationary period. FM is a law enforcement agency too.

Hello. I am currently a member of G6. Can I apply and see if I get accepted and then leave the faction? Or I have to leave the faction and then apply?

You would have to leave upon entering out ‘academy’ upon passing a DI and waiting for the exam.

As far as I know SAPR aren't allowed to send lateral transfers, even though they are fully LEOs aswell, is it got changed?

Transferees are required to hold a non-probationary rank (e.g. Police Officer II equivalent) in their current department and required to have passed the SA POST.

So again... as Park Ranger, which is the rank equivalent to PO2, am I allowed to do such a transfer? Kinda looking for a straight answer on that one, if possible, please!

I believe so, yes. Employees of other law enforcement agencies may seek employment with the Department by submitting a Lateral Transfer Request. Applicants shall ensure that they have achieved a San Andreas POST certification and passed their probationary period before making such a submission. We currently do not have a publicised rank structure however this is something we are now looking into.

Am I allowed to apply twice during one recruitment period to fix my application? I didn't dedicate enough time into it and I already regret it.

You cannot apply twice during the same recruitment period. At this time, you may elect to either withdraw your application or to file an appeal including:
- a discussion of any mitigating circumstances that you wish to have considered;
- any relevant and/or supporting documentation; and
- a brief discussion of the reasons you believe you meet all of the background standards.

Only if its within a relatively same field, we look at the possibility with leniency. You would still be required to go via an interview and such however, and other relevant steps involved with said field whilst the process won't be much different except factoring in your employment at the Department. Your background would also be required to align with the position you are looking to — for instance, there is no point in trying to transfer from an Admin Clerk to a Quartermaster position if you do not have any transferrable skills in the field of firearms.
