- What would you like to commend about the employee's performance?
I was responding to a call for service regarding a shooting in Little Seoul. When on scene, I cleared the area with Officer Dylan Medina and Officer Kane Navarro. While making my way back to the original scene, I fell over into an active dumpster fire, my outer clothing caught fire. Officer Navarro showed great intuition and immediately provided me with aid, stopping the fire on my clothes, and tending to my wounds. I believe that Officer Navarro saved my life in this situation. He put my life over his own injuries, as he received first and second degree burns from this incident.
