In the early hours of the 22 of August 2021, State Parks were dispatched to a person in distress following an MVA. As Rangers arrived on scene and did some initial checks on the victim, attempts to FD, SD and PD were made, upon obtaining no available units, Officer Yueyang called in that she was then responding to the scene. Upon arrival, it was seen that Officer Yueyang was not on shift, arriving in her take-home vehicle to quickly get to the scene. Upon arrival, Officer Yueyang wasted no time in handling the scene and taking full control as the Advanced Practitioner on scene.
If it wasn't for Officer Yueyang, the victim wouldn't have been able to get the care they got and the State Parks would've struggled in handling the service call as the victim was outside of standard care. Yueyang gave the utmost care and shown what a true law enforcement officer should act, to come to the call for help when needed.
