  4. What would you like to commend about the employee's performance?
     
     
     Officer Horton went far beyond what could usually be expected from a Police Officer I still going through Field Training, managing to hold a situation with a suicidal minor until the LSFD and a Crisis Negotiator arrived. He coordinated perfectly, walking the extra mile to make sure qualified personnel had time to take over, assisting exactly when needed, where needed.
     
     It is easy to make countless mistakes when you assist in situations that exceed your qualifications and training, but Officer Horton managed to perform at the highest standard in a highly stressful situation and was an asset of great value on a situation that concluded with the minor being rescued.
