  • 8.13 What is the backstory of your character? Include such things as childhood, previous jobs, motivations, etc. (Max 400 Words): Torian was born into an upper-class family, placed in the upper East side of Manhattan, New York. As the youngest of three children, Torian always sought to best his older siblings. Through his academics and sports, he had developed a large ambition to always excel and become the shining star of his family. As a young teenager, Torian and his family suffered from the untimely death of his father. This tragedy left an emotional divide in his family, one that drew him distant from his loved ones. He sought to replenish his emotional stability through his friends outside of home. Most days after school and nearly every weekend were now spent away from home, often at a friends house. The loss of his father created what felt like an emotional barrier between him and his family, a feeling that made staying at home uncomfortable for Torian. He now found solace through connecting with friends and finding things to do around the city.

    Before graduating High School, Torian applied to many different colleges with the goal of further his education while also finding a way to leave home. In no time, he found himself at Fordham University. Studying psychology, Torian enjoyed his education, working part-time jobs in order to support himself financially while he attended classes. After two years of schooling, he had obtained his associates degree. Seeking a new frontier, one in which he can apply his skillset to a career path, he moved to Los Santos some time after graduating. Taking a keen interest in law enforcement, he is now searching for an opportunity to get his foot in the door.

(( Updated as requested. I would also like to clarify that you definitely can graduate in the United States with an Associates degree in Psychology. An example of a career you could pursue with that degree would be a Correctional Officer or a Psychiatric Technician.))
